Julia, I saw the pics from your parent’s trip! Incredible! I see why you would want to sign on for another year. Its gorgeous there. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about all your adventures over the years. I live vicariously through you. Thank you for sharing your life with me. You have touched so many people in so many ways, and their lives are richer for it! Keep up the excellent work, you are in my prayers and thoughts. Julie (I work with your mom)
hi julia…happy belated birthday.
i was desperately looking for some link in sakata or any place in yamagata which can help me relive my memories over there, when i visited japan for 2 months as a rotary club member.
I have truly fallen in love with japan and their people. But they are shy of using internet or sending mail.
Reading your write ups was a truly literay feast.. you have the knack of gripping the reader. They say that a picture is worth thousand words but i say that your writeups are worth thousand pics. I would not be surprised if you become a novelist one day.
O you must be wondering who this guy is … well am an engineer, MBA turned lawyer in chandigarh, India and am sincerely impressed by your blog.
I wud love to be in yr list of frnds.. my email is munish.singal at the rate of gmail dot com , coz they say that the mail wud not be published.
Tell me which place are u located in yamagata and whats yr work place.
Warm regards and best wishes always
Munish
